The finest take out in the East Bay or anywhere in the Bay Area as far as I'm concerned. The fact that he makes this variety of dishes from this tiny hole-in-the-wall steps away from a hair salon and a bodega makes it all the more impressive. This place belongs in Berkeley's Gourmet Ghetto, but I am thrilled that it's less than 10 minutes from home. The portions are substantial and the quality is incredible. The flavors are Asian (Korean-influenced) but so reflective of the chefs whose cookbooks adorn the interior. I enjoy picking up my orders, so I can chat a bit with his sweet mother who hands me my bag of goodies with a smile and thanks. She's so grateful that people come to enjoy her son's cooking; it's very endearing. My mission is to try every item and I'm getting close. My go-to is the Market Salad with harissa grilled chicken. Depending on my mood, I'll either get the fries or the pork dumpling soup as my accompaniment. All of it is good to share or keep for two additional meals. You can't go wrong with the rice bowls (beef rib or chicken) or the sandwiches. Tip: order through the square site and pick up if you can to save $$. But if you can't get this any other way, pay for an app delivery. It's worth it.

Are you kidding me I’ve live in Richmond, my whole life and I saw when they painted this building black and I just thought it was a barbershop this whole time. There’s been this amazing hidden gem, and I never tried it till today, and this was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. Love it.

This is one of those places that you’ll be reading about in every “best of Richmond” roundups for years to come. Food is incredible. I just watched my wife say “this is the best salad I’ve ever had”. And she eats the 200$ salads from Sweet Greens.

Today will be day 3 ordering dinner from 2207. I love the fact it is take out only. So many restaurants have to scale back on their food quality because running a brick/mortar location, ingrediant costs and employees is costly. They found a way to do it, and do it well. Food is phenomenal, quality is top tier and I can't remember a place I was willing to go 3 days in a row for dinner. Fried Chicken cannot be beat!!!

Amazing food. You can taste the love and care that goes into the food. I would eat this everyday if I could. Good portion sizes, fresh vegetables, not super heavy. Get the food it is worth it. It will take about 20 minutes. Everything is made to order.

I had no idea this place exists and have passed it a hundred times. Strictly take out, this is delicious korean food- I bought a market grain harissa chicken salad that was so uniquely assembled. Beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables combined in a large serving. I am definitely going to be back to try some of the sandwiches and the fries.

So glad to find out they reopened after being closed a while during the pandemic. Currently you have to pre-order a day in advance for pickup so it takes a little planning but so worth it. Their fried chicken is so crispy. I ordered it with waffle fries and they say they only fire up the fries just before your pickup time so that they're fresh. When I went to pick up my order, they let me know it would just be a few minutes because the fries were finishing and when he came out with my order, he said he accidentally made the salad but included both the fries and salad and threw in a vanilla pudding. Everything was so delicious. Even the bonus pudding had flecks of vanilla bean and tasted so much better than the instant stuff. The chicken and fries were enough for 2 meals.
